OU President Joseph Harroz Jr. announces new vice president of advertising, communications | News

Pending approval by the OU Board of Regents, President Joseph Harroz Jr. introduced Jennifer Hollingshead as the new vice president of advertising and communications. 

Hollingshead will be part of OU on Aug. 21 to begin the fall semester. She will be transferring from Rutgers University exactly where she now serves as the vice chancellor of marketing and advertising and communications. 

According to an e-mail sent by Harroz Monday, Hollingshead’s most important responsibilities at Rutgers included leading advertising techniques to make improvements to the university’s name for both the Rutgers-New Brunswick and Rutgers Biomedical and Wellbeing Sciences campuses. 

At OU, Hollingshead will have the duty of controlling and acquiring the OU brand name in an energy to amplify the university’s prominence and to emphasize its lifestyle-modifying options. One particular of her very first responsibilities will be to completely unify all entrepreneurs and communicators in a one division to propel the OU brand name onto a increased amount.
